Biography
Dr. Jonathan Shi is currently the Art E. Favre endowed chair professor at Louisiana State University (LSU). His research effort has resulted in more than 100 technical articles including 68 refereed journal papers. Dr. Shi’s research has been funded by many sponsors with a total amount in excess of $10 million. He currently leads three national programs at LSU, 1) Louisiana Chemical Manufacturing Initiative (LCMI), comprised of 90+ partners, 2) Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, and 3) Industrial Innovation Center (IIC) funded by the US Economic Development Administration’s Regional Innovation Strategies Challenge program.
