Biography
Dr. Hussam Mahmoud has completed his BS. and MS. from the University of Minnesota and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D. he worked as a researcher scientist at Lehigh University and as manager of the Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES) Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the current director of the structural laboratory at Colorado State University. He has published more than 50 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of other journals.
